A prophetic teaching called 'preterism' saw a surge of popularity at the turn of the 21st century and is being promoted by men such as Gary DeMar, R.C. Sproul, Ken Gentry and the late David Chilton. This preterist teaching puts most of the events which appear to point to the second coming of Christ (Matt 24 etc) back to AD 70. Preterism allegorises the sun, moon and stars to mean something else and denies a future 70th week, restoration of Israel, 100 year millennium etc. This book exposes this false preterism teaching.
