We highly recommend this work as one of the best books on future events ever written. Among the many subjects covered in this helpful title, John MacArthur warns of the dangers of date setting. He distinguishes between pre-millennialism, a-millennialism and post-millennialism. He presses the case for a pre-tribulation rapture of the church and the imminency of the Lord's return. He goes into detail on Matthew Ch. 24 explaining how the passage relates to Daniel's 70th week and the great tribulation. He refutes the preterist notion that most of prophecy has already been fulfilled. Finally, he draws out the differences between the judgment seat of Christ, the judgment of the nations in Matthew Ch. 25 and the great white throne judgment in Revelation 20. Included is an appendix called The Imminent Return of the Redeemer by A.W. Pink.
