There's a saying: "Sing it and you'll never forget it." I grew up in a singing church, and a lot of my Christian beliefs come from singing the old hymns time and again. "Blessed assurance Jesus is mine…" "All the way my Savior leads me…" "All that thrills my soul is Jesus..." and "Standing on the promises of God my King..." are a few illustrations of the powerful messages our traditional hymns teach us. As I grow older, I seek more inspiration and hope in the music I listen to and sing. So, Tom Fettke and I dug deep into the hymn book and collected a wonderful list of hymns to record that will bring all of us the warmth of inspiration and the joy of hope.
